SUSPENDED

Why is SUSPENDED a "Best Seller"?  Because every dog club, breeder, exhibitor or purchaser needs to know whether the person to be trusted with your dog or your money is or has ever been suspended or barred by AKC or UKC and if so, the penalty and reason for suspension.

Such vital information should not be so difficult to access and it should be a running record.  So once again, The Dog Press breaks new ground. For the first time in history, you can quickly search by name for a record of suspension of privileges, charges and/or fines as imposed by the American Kennel Club and the United Kennel Club.

Our researchers noted AKC has suspended serious sentences by nearly 100% in 2009 compared to previous years whereas UKC seems to be cracking down on violators.  AKC could not provide a running list of those suspended.  We trust this new section will serve as a more complete, searchable reference for the fancy. You can search each section by name or term to locate information.

Given the difficulty in obtaining and compiling this information, we are not responsible for error or omission. Suspensions or penalties may change or be rescinded upon appeal or a Trial Board. If you have any questions, please contact AKC or UKC.
