Fred Lanting

Fred Lanting is an internationally respected show judge, approved by many registries as an all-breed judge, Sieger and Schutzhund specialist. He presents seminars and consults worldwide on Gait and Structure, hip dysplasia and other Orthopedic Disorders, Anatomy, Training Techniques, and The GSD. Fred breeds occasional litters and conducts non-profit Sieger and sightseeing tours. A retired organic chemist, Fred is a prolific author with several books and articles published on the above subjects.  He writes for TheDogPlace and occasionally shares insight on the sport of dogs for TheDogPress readers.

He has judged Sieger Shows and Landesgruppen events in numerous countries, and has many years experience with SV.  Fred lives part of the year in Alabama, actively trains in Schutzhund. He invites all to join his annual non-profit Sieger Show and sightseeing tour.
