AKC Group judge Katie Gammill forwarded this child’s view of the 7 Wonders Of The World and as our staff discussed it, we realized what was missing.

DOGS, EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD: To this child’s list of the Seven Wonders Of The World, we added the dog as the most universally beloved animal on earth, what would YOU add to this list?

The dog is a miraculous creation that could not have evolved on its own and we agree with Dr. Lee’s perception included at end of this page.

As a subscriber, you know dogs and the mystery that surrounds the origin of the planet’s only species that bonds with humans. Think about that as you appreciate this child’s insight and our staff’s perception of world wonders that follows below.

The Seven Wonders Of The World!

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present Seven Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following got the most votes:

1. Egypt's Great Pyramids

2. Taj Mahal

3. Grand Canyon

4. Panama Canal

5. Empire State Building

6. St. Peter's Basilica

7. China's Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student hadn't turned in her paper yet, so she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list.

The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many." The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."

The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:

1. to See

2. to Taste

3. to Touch

4. to Hear

She hesitated a little, and then added,

5. to Feel

6. to Laugh

7. and to Love

The Science and Advisory Board noted that we love seeing our dog and are calmed by touching i.e. stroking a dog. We hear a dog’s warning bark and we feel more secure knowing he is watching over us. The dog makes us laugh and allows us to indulge in unbridled love.

As world-renowned psychologist and religious scholar Dr. Roberta Lee would say, “That is why dog spelled backwards is God.
