Why Animals Don’t Get COVID.
Layman scientist, international dog show judge on why animals are immune to COVID-19 but a bigger issue may be Chinese medicine and Monkey Pox.

What you don’t hear about COVID 19 is significant to your health and safety given the fact that much of our medications come from China. In March 2020 The New York Times reported “Chinese pharmaceutical companies have supplied more than 90 percent of U.S. antibiotics, vitamin C, ibuprofen and hydrocortisone…” More on that in a minute.
Fred Lanting was among the first writers for www.TheDogPlace.org which was the world’s first website. Fred has judged dog shows all over the world and the clipping he sent from a 2022 article in Newsletters.time.com posed an interesting reason “why non-humans might be better protected against Omicron…“
The upshot is that omicron, i.e. COVID virus, doesn’t multiply very well at an animal’s higher body temperature (average 101.1) compared to the lower human temperature of 98 degrees.
Fred immediately recognized that super-significant fact. Veterinary sources reported “Omicron and its subvariants appear to be transmitting less easily among animals…” but few sites mentioned WHY so TheDogPress.com will explain.
The BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) refers to the amount of energy the body needs to maintain homeostasis. Children and dogs maintain a higher metabolic rate than adult humans (especially seniors) and thus are less vulnerable to COVID or other viral infections.
In spite of that fact and that the viral form animals get causes “…less severe disease” the bad-sad news is that many pets were destroyed due to fear they might transmit the virus to family or friends. As reported in Time Newsletters “One study from April looked at 79 pets (mostly dogs and cats, plus one rabbit) living with humans infected with Omicron and found just 10% tested positive for the virus, and none showed any symptoms.”
Was inducing Americans to kill their beloved animals a psychological weapon? Our political enemies are experts at creating fear and anxiety, both of which depress the human immune system. Parents and animal owners are easy targets.
In March 2020 The New York Times reported “Chinese pharmaceutical companies have supplied more than 90 percent of U.S. antibiotics, vitamin C, ibuprofen and hydrocortisone…”
Let’s go back to the origin of COVID-19. In March 2021, 60 Minutes did a minor report on a “new coronavirus” in a lab in China. Huh? www.TheDogPress.com broke that story in March of 2020. Yeah, a dog-site was among the first news sources to report on the new disease, including where it came from. {Ref #1}
Equally noteworthy, an Emergency Services doctor stated he sees “…more people with COVID who received shots than those who didn’t but that doctors can’t speak out because their licenses wouldn’t be renewed.”
TheDogPress noted that Pfizer was the first with a “vaccine” that was actually not a vaccine but a “preventative measure to keep you out of the hospital.” Today there are new pills promoted as effective if taken within the first 5 days of COVID.
NOTE: that both the COVID vaccine and new pills are said to “diminish symptoms” but neither have been fully tested and we’re told that COVID can come right back even after a person has gone through the treatment!
A perfect example of that is President Biden. He was inoculated and boosted twice but he still got COVID and then in mid-August he again tested positive for COVID…
The good news is that COVID hasn’t strengthened and with every mutation it seems to lessen in severity. But don’t relax. As August 2022 draws to a close there is a dog that got Monkeypox from its owners.
What is monkeypox??! According to the CDC it is “part of the same family of viruses … that causes smallpox. Monkeypox symptoms are similar to smallpox symptoms, but milder, and monkeypox is rarely fatal.”
According to an NBC report, researchers believe that a 4-year-old Italian greyhound got the monkeypox infection from its owners who live together but were not sexually exclusive. What next?!?
