Westminster Kennel Club Preview

Don't miss the 146th WKC Dog Show 2022! The When, Where and Who including TV schedules and BIS judge.

February 28, 2022

Dennis Flye, Media Dept. Manager

This year's event will return to the Lyndhurst Estate in Tarrytown, NY June 18th-22nd after being cancelled in Dec. for the planned January 22nd-26th event in New York City and the Madison Square Garden venue.  This was due to the COVID Omicron varient running rampant in New York. It's the second year WKC has had to adjust due to the pandemic and the Board Of Governors feel an outdoor venue is best.

NetPlaces Network inquired with the WKC to find out if spectators/vendors would be allowed this year, as they weren't allowed last year, and Kramer Lindsley, Operations Support Manager at The Westminster Kennel Club told us this; “We are currently in the process of nailing down that information. With the constantly changing state of Covid, we are trying to be as adaptable as possible. That being said, chances are good that we will be having spectators at Lyndhurst. Please keep an eye on westminsterkennelclub.org for all of the latest updates.

All Westminster events are presented by Purina Pro Plan®. There will be a little over 19 hours of television coverage on FOX, FS1, and FS2! Westminster Week 2022 will kick off with the Masters Agility Championship on Saturday, June 18, 2022, followed by Junior Showmanship, Breed, Group, and Best in Show judging on June 20-22, 2022.
