WHY CARRY A GUN?

America has changed from the 1800s when men wore big six-shooters. Today we need a permit to own a tiny pistol we keep hidden in the closet.

Thanks to subscriber Hank Dowling for giving us a fresh look at firearms. With today's crime rate plus the border problems, more people are buying guns than ever before.

Americans don't carry a gun to kill anyone people; we have a firearm to keep from being killed! We're armed because we’ve come to understand the limitations of our government and because police are so disrespected - by the very people who would harm us.

Senior citizens don’t carry a gun because they plan to shoot someone; they just want to die of old age, not on a sidewalk tomorrow afternoon.

Women don’t carry a gun because we feel inadequate; we carry a gun because unarmed and facing three thugs, we ARE inadequate. More people "carry" because they love life and living it. Thankfully, more people around them that don’t carry are therefore protected.

In this time in American history, police protection may not exist in your neighborhood or business. Think about this: police cannot protect us from crime; they come after it's happened. Talk to your friends, you may be surprised by who carries even when they have a guard dog that knows its job.
