RISING RESISTANCE TO ANTIBIOTICS IN 2023
You may already know there is a serious overuse problem in both human and animal medications and vaccines but now the CVM confirms it and how it affects YOU.
January 31, 2023
The Center For Veterinary Medicine evaluates the “safety of drugs used in food-producing animals, the impact drug resides have on human intestinal microflora, and the development of human antimicrobial resistance.” {Ref #1}
The CVM and other medical researchers have discovered (read that as “admits”) “drug residues in meat, milk, eggs, and honey from treated animals expose bacteria to trace amounts…” That is not news but that we are reminded of it IS uncommon in today’s mainstream media outlets.
So here’s the point. Although the “residue” from the drug is not strong enough to kill the good bacteria it does “allow for the development of antibiotic resistance.” ~ Macayla Bricarell, NAVC Public Relations.
As the world’s first public website (1998) www.TheDogPlace.org has warned animal owners of the risks associated with over-vaccination and the excessive use of antibiotics and herbal medications both of which can weaken the immune system.
And yes, resistance applies to “natural remedies” as well as prescription medications.
The old saying about “too much of a good thing” still applies. In fact, such sayings survive because they are true.
This release by the CVM veterinary community is a milestone, an important reminder by manufacturers and the medical community. Does it apply to people? Of course it does!
The NetPlaces Network thanks Macayla and the Center For Veterinary Medicine (CVM) {Ref #2}, for sharing this news with www.TheDogPress.com subscribers. We hope it is being equally disseminated to the human medical community because it certainly applies to people.
The list of “childhood vaccines” grows longer each year as does the demand for ever-more medications as people become allergic to penicillin and other common medications. Becoming unable to use such medicines due to overuse presents problems for doctors and manufacturers but especially for the patient.
Medical professionals on the SAAB, NetPlaces Network Science And Advisory Board, are concerned about the rising demand for prescriptions as a result of the constant barrage of TV promotions for “miracle medications” for everything from weight loss to sexual prowess.
Regarding today’s problem of antibiotic resistance, we would remind you of honey which is a natural antibiotic shown to be effective against “both Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant (MRSA) ones.” ~ National Center For Biotechnology Information {Ref #3}
The list of common antibiotics previously available to livestock producers includes tylosin, penicillin, tetracycline, sulfadimethoxine, and cephapirin and derivatives.
