In Memory of T. Hall Keyes
the effect is that the dog world will never be the same...
T. Hall Keyes III, husband to Fran passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the age of 89. He lived a long and fruitful life. Hall was a monument in the dog world for over 50 years, a kind and true gentleman. The Nanhall kennel and training facility was known world-wide.

Hall Keyes was a quiet man, he epitomized the "soft touch" and gentle approach. A master trainer and teacher, he willingly shared his skills with anyone who wanted to learn more about dogs. One friend said "I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone, but one thing for sure - anyone who messed with Fran was on Hall's bad side as well." and no one would disagree with that comment.
Hall had been in a nursing home for over a year but was doing well. Visited daily by his wife and their daughter Hayley, he took his circumstances gracefully. But then that was Hall.
He suffered a fall in the garden the day after he had enjoyed walking there; right hand holding his little grandson's hand, left hand holding the leash of his German Shepherd Dog. His hip was broken when he fell and he became bedridden but remained in good spirits.
Hall Keyes will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
