Animal Control Out Of Control, Press Politics, Librela Injection Warning

Librela Injection: I want to bring attention to an injection called Librela (by Zoetis) that is being advertised as a miracle drug for dogs but in fact is causing death or serious side effects. There are over 35,000 people on a Facebook page called Librela Experience to discuss this drug and the side-effects it has had on their beloved pups and can say that approximately 1% of these stories has a good ending... This is only one of many Facebook pages, I can confirm that there may be another 4 or 5 other Facebook pages, with approximately 3,000 or more people also talking about the serious side-effects of this injection.

     I unfortunately, gave this injection to my dog and I regret it everyday! There is talk about a class-action suit, not only in Canada but also in U.S. Unfortunately, too many veterinarians do not explain the full side-effects or the vets are not advised by the Pharmaceutical Representatives for Zoetis. No Politics: Wow. Didn't realize TheDogPress gets involved with politics. Your article on DeSantis is as slanted an article as I have ever seen, as a Florida resident I can assure you that not all Floridians love him. Much of the bonuses given to teachers, firefighters, etc. came from the federal government which DeSantis has never given credit to. Home prices are sky high and insurance companies are leaving Florida in droves. Manatees are dying at unprecedented rates as green algae takes over our waterways. Other issues as well but won't bother to elaborate on those... Why not just stick to what you do best which is talk about dog related subjects only. Animal Control: This is a letter of protest for the laws and methods that Animal Control tries to pull on people. I live in San Diego County. I for one have been harassed by them on a regular basis. The last go around with them was when they told me I had 1 too many dogs. They came out re; a complaint from a disgruntled ex-husband, who called them because he couldn't get his way with his wife.

     When the lovely Animal Control officer showed up he explained to me that the American Kennel Club was just a joke and that their inspections for which I have had several over the years meant nothing to them. They did not even recognize them as being qualified to inspect. I wanted to scream at him but I felt my hands are tied. There is so much hatred out there, if someone is successful they want to tear you down. I will no longer allow them on my property without a warrant which I am sure they would try to get. After all, as they said "we have a History with you". Anytime anyone has a personal complaint against someone they can call animal control and tell them how dirty and abused the animals are. Never have I abused or neglected my animals, granted my place is not spotless but who's place is that has animals of any kind.

     I am almost to the point of retiring as I have no fight left in me. I think this is a tragic waist of time, money and effort to fight them. They threaten you with seizure and all sorts of things but I keep on trying my best to make the best of the best to shine through my breed.
